Remote deposit allows businesses to make deposits right in their own offices. No more running to town each day to make the deposit or to pick up the night drop bag. Each participating business will be issued a special scanner to scan customer checks. From there, an electronic file is generated and sent to the bank for processing. This convenient product is not for every business, however. Remote deposit is best suited for businesses which generate daily deposits consisting of primarily paper checks.
