Happy New Year……..

Hang on to your hats because here comes another new year—where does the time go? I guess that old saying is true.. "time flies when you are having fun" and, we definitely have fun on our trips!! So if you haven't yet traveled with us, why not give us a try in 2012—I'm confident that you will be glad you did!

Below are a few travel tips to keep in mind:

  • Our trips fill quickly so make your reservations early
  • Seats are assigned according to reservations
  • We travel as "one big happy family"-so you won't be alone
  • You may invite guests to travel with you
  • Trips depart from various locations
  • All remittances must be payable to Ohio Heritage Bank unless noted differently for trip
  • You can remit in person, by mail, or by calling me to debit your account
  • We reserve the right to change or cancel any tour
  • Should you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, refunds will be given only if we can fill your vacancy or if prepaid tickets and admissions can be retrieved
  • A trip itinerary will be mailed to you prior to the departure date on all trips

So, to be sure you have a seat on all our trips…….please, make your reservations early. Our trips fill quickly, and sometimes our tickets are limited, so call me at my direct number 740-610-2017 as soon as possible. If, I am not available to take your call, just leave me a message and I will return your call as soon as I can.

Occasionally I will have information regarding a new trip or event, not featured in this newsletter, and I will post a message about it on your monthly Golden Checking Account Statement. So………………………….

"A TRIBUTE SHOW"

Back by popular request—we will be returning to the Sights N Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA to enjoy the new production of "The Story of Jonah". This promises to be the theatre's most extreme fun filled adventure yet. From the moment you walk into the theatre you'll be on the edge of your seat, and in the heart of the action. Jonah is a story about a faithful, righteous prophet of God…who suddenly disobeys and runs away! As a result, he encounters a TERRIBLE storm, an ENORMOUS fish, a TINY worm, a MIGHTY wind, a BLAZING sun, a WICKED empire, and the GREATEST revival in history. "Jonah" is a story of extremes! And through it all, God reveals His extreme mercy and love – for all.

"Lost in the 50's"

A luncheon show at the Aladdin Shrine Center in Columbus featuring The Four Preps and The New Chordettes. Imagine sitting in the audience and listening to the great songs of the 50's and 60's from the groups that recorded them and saying to yourself, "I could have sung that song" or "I remember doing that dance", when all of a sudden The Four Preps or The Chordettes stop singing and bring you up to sing and dance with them. Well get ready! That's about to happen! These two great groups join together to create a show that involves the audience singing on stage with the acts. In essence, the stage merges with the audience into one great party! So, come one-come all and let the party begin!!!

Cost: $72 pp. Includes: transportation, lunch, and show.

"A Branson Country Christmas", Columbus

Travel with me to the Aladdin Shrine Center in Columbus to hear the sounds of the Holiday Season direct from Branson, MO.  The Ozark Jubilee features Branson’s funniest comedian and world class fiddler—Doofus Doolittle.  Doofus will have you rolling in the aisles with his unique style of “Hillbilly Humor”.  You can expect some of the best fiddle music anywhere!  Doofus, alias Randy Newman, has established himself as a World Class Violinist.  The Ozark Jubilee Band consists of some of the best musicians and singers in the business today.  So mark this very special show on your calendar as a “Can’t Miss Holiday Show!”

Hartwood Acres/ Oglebay Light Tour
Saturday, December 8, 2012


Wow!  Two great displays of Christmas lights rolled into one fun-filled trip.   First we will head to Pittsburgh, PA to the Hartwood Acres Celebration of Lights—a breath taking 3.2 mile stretch of more than two million lights used to illuminate the holiday-themed displays leading up to the stunning mansion at Hartwood.   You too can be one of the more than 600,000 people who enjoy this great event annually.   Then our next destination will be a dinner stop (price included in the cost of the trip) before we head to Wheeling, WVA to enjoy the awesome light displays of Oglebay Park.   I’m sure we will even enjoy some of your favorite Christmas carols enroute.

HO HO HO…………………and away we go!
