NEW PHISHING SCAM!

There is a new Emailed Phishing Scam claming to be a Survey from Ohioheritage.com.

We do not Email Account Information or ask for Account Updates by Email.

Do Not Respond to this Email and Don't Ever Click on Links within Emails from sources you are unsure of. It is possible for Identity Thieves to pretend to be originating from any Business or Individual's name. Never give out personal information or financial information by Email or after Clicking on Links contained within Emails! This particular Scam is charging $250 on a Credit Card after anyone follows the Link.

Identity Theft Risk and Loss of Funds Risk!

There is currently a rising threat Nationwide from Automated Phone Calling Systems and Manual Human Calling methods from Fraudster's posing as Bank Employees or working on "Behalf of" a Bank. This has been hitting the Midwest as of late. Several OHB Customers have received actual calls from persons claiming to be working on "Behalf of Ohio Heritage Bank".

The Messages are claiming that there is a problem with your Credit or Debit Cards and Accounts, or Deactivation's of said Cards or Accounts, and that they need the Customer to enter their Account Number and PIN Numbers into the System to fix it., or to provide the info over the phone to the person making the call.

Ohio Heritage Bank would never do this! We already have our Customer's Account Information on our Systems, so we would not be calling and asking for it to resolve an issue. These calls are originating from Unknown Sources all over the Country and are Not from Ohio Heritage Bank .

Remember!! Never give out Personal Information related to your Identity in any way to an unknown Caller or Calling System.
