VISHING
WARNING to All OHB Customers!!!
Identity
Theft Risk and Loss of Funds Risk!
There is currently a rising threat Nationwide from
Automated Phone Calling Systems and Manual Human
Calling methods from Fraudster's posing as Bank
Employees or working on "Behalf of" a
Bank. This has been hitting the Midwest as of late.
Several OHB Customers have received actual calls
from persons claiming to be working on "Behalf
of Ohio Heritage Bank".
The Messages are claiming that there is a problem
with your Credit or Debit Cards and Accounts, or
Deactivation's of said Cards or Accounts, and that
they need the Customer to enter their Account Number
and PIN Numbers into the System to fix it., or to
provide the info over the phone to the person making
the call.
Ohio Heritage Bank would never do this! We already
have our Customer's Account Information on our Systems,
so we would not be calling and asking for it to
resolve an issue. These calls are originating from
Unknown Sources all over the Country and are Not
from Ohio Heritage Bank .
Remember!! Never give out Personal
Information related to your Identity in any way
to an unknown Caller or Calling System.
